Over 70 people enjoyed a fantastic afternoon celebrating the 50th anniversary of Scatacook Shores! The weather was perfect, the food was delicious and plentiful thanks to the generous contributions of neighbors, and DJ Sammie added to the celebratory atmosphere!
HATS OFF TO MARTA CISOWSKI for planning, shopping, arranging and adding amazing special touches!
Thank you to president Frank McCarthy for reminding us how important volunteers are to making this neighborhood the extraordinary community we all value. And special thanks to our former presidents who still live here and were presented with our 50th Anniversary cap and ‘past president’ pins.
Thank you to Marty Sauser for building the display for those awesome photos of SSHA in its infancy. It was great fun hearing stories from neighbors who have lived here for decades!
